For my still life photography, I chose to take pictures of my Christmas tree. I found that I really enjoyed the shots of the ornaments and the way that the lights glow in the pictures.
I agree with Seth. All of your pictures have a really nice feel, very easy to look at. The only thing is on the first picture the lights are a little much, but on all the others the lights really enhance the pictures.
Great work! I love your fourth image; the warm lighting gives the picture a welcoming and sort of vintage feel. All of your photos use the rule of thirds and are nicely balanced, and I like how you used the beams from the Christmas lights to help lead the eye toward the subjects of the photos. In your first image, the Christmas lights are so bright that they are a little distracting, and sort of make things look like they are blurred together, but other than that, your images look great! Way to go!
I really like the pictures, the lights give it a magical feel, but on the first one I think that the lights kind of distract from the subject.
